Dietary

A meal is more than a diet. It is more than sustenance. We look forward to the taste, the flavor, and the aroma of a well-cooked meal. It is a social experience for some and a time of reflection for others.

That’s why we make the meal service at Claridge House special. Not only have our Dieticians designed a thoughtful and nutritious menu for a wide variety of special diets, but we also prepare it to be appealing and enjoyable.

  • Every resident or family member is interviewed upon admission to determine their particular dietary needs and preferences. A Registered Dietician makes an assessment which is reviewed by a physician to assure the highest levels of nutritional care.
  • We offer several substitutions at each meal.
  • Claridge House is a kosher facility. Our in-house Mashgiach supervises our food preparation to meet traditional Jewish guidelines. Homemade flavor and quality is our standard.
  • We observe Friday Night Sabbath with a special dinner.
  • We cater all parties and special events within the facility, offering fun and tasty food that is a change of pace from the regular menu.
  • Our in-house nutritionist is always searching for innovative ways to prepare our meals. A recent success is or Nutritional Intervention Program, which provides an exciting presentation for residents with higher protein and calorie needs.
