Social & Recreational Activities

From Music to Crafts and Bingo, We Make Sure There's Plenty to Do

Who doesn't like a good time? Who doesn't welcome an hour here or there that allows socializing or some other entertaining leisure activity? Besides all of that, having a good time isn't always just about fun. It can also be downright therapeutic because an engaging event can promote movement and help distract from boredom, depression or even a troubled mind.

At Claridge House, we make sure residents have a wide array of activities to stimulate them. We make sure that those activities include a mix that meets the different interests of people.

After all, in their own home some people prefer to spend leisure time reading a book or simply watching television. On the other hand, others enjoy energetic activities that might involve socializing. Our residents are no different, and we aim to provide their preference of activity to them.

The activities department at Claridge House offers programs that cater to both alert and oriented residents as well as those who are cognitively challenged, so that no matter what there will be an activity that can satisfy everyone.
